Research labeling
Label artwork is optional. Supply your own research label artwork for written approval before production, or take our plain research label applied at source.
What every label carries
- The statement "For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use."
- Compound identity
- Amount
- Lot number
- Storage conditions
How artwork approval works
If you supply research label artwork, SpecZure checks it against the labeling rules and approves it in writing before production. Any change to supplied artwork reopens the approval.
If you do not supply artwork
SpecZure applies a plain research label at source. It carries the compound identity, amount, lot number, storage conditions, and "For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use."
Applying your own label after delivery
You may apply your own label over the plain label only with a design SpecZure has approved in writing, and only where the compound identity, amount, lot number, and the research-use statement remain visible.
Labels we decline
We decline labels without the research-use statement, labels carrying any dosing, administration, or benefit wording, and labels presented for consumer or clinical audiences. The full list is published so you can check supplied artwork against it before you contact us.
Read the label policyBulk supply, repackaging, and reseller terms
Every bulk container carries "For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use." If you repackage bulk material into smaller units, each unit must carry a research label we approve in writing before use, with the same statement. The rule is set out in full in our reseller terms, along with the other obligations that apply when buying for resale.
