How it works

How SpecZure works: from your quote request to handover of your order.

The order steps

  1. 1

    Request a quote.

Tell us the compound, presentation, quantity, target market, sales channel, and your research label.

  2. 2

    Review.

We review every request against our specification, labeling, and research-use requirements. Some requests are declined.

  3. 3

    Quote.

We confirm the specification in writing, the minimum order for each product, your pricing tier and per-unit prices, and the Incoterm (FOB or FCA) with its named place.

  4. 4

    Independent testing (strongly encouraged).

3 to 5 samples tested at a laboratory we recommend or one you choose. The testing charge is credited against your order.

  5. 5

    Label artwork (optional)

Supply your own research label artwork and we approve it in writing before production, or take our plain research label, which carries the compound identity, amount, lot number, storage conditions, and "For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use."

  6. 6

    Production and manufacturer testing.

Produced to the agreed specification and tested by the manufacturer before shipment.

  7. 7

    Handover.

SpecZure takes title at origin and hands the order over at the named Incoterm place. You are the importer of record.

  8. 8

    Shipment guarantee.

SpecZure guarantees the shipment and replaces undelivered product at no cost. Product that fails specification is replaced, and SpecZure performs any retesting.

Pricing tiers

Per-unit pricing is set by the tier your total order value reaches. Total order value is the combined value of all products in one order, in US dollars.

Tier 1

$25,000 to $49,999

Tier 2

$50,000 to $99,999

Tier 3

$100,000 and above

Orders below $25,000 are quoted individually without a tier.

Your tier and per-unit prices are confirmed in your quote.

Minimum orders

Minimum orders start from 500 units per product and are set for each product in your quote. One order can include several products, each meeting its own minimum. Pooled production runs sometimes allow smaller quantities. Approved buyers can see open runs in the portal.

Pooled production runs

Now and then SpecZure opens a pooled run, in which several approved buyers share one production run so each can order below the usual minimum. Each buyer still receives their own quote and remains the importer of record.

Availability: pooled runs are opened only occasionally and none is guaranteed to be open at any time. Approved buyers can check current availability on the public pooled runs page, which states plainly when no run is open. Joining a run happens in the buyer portal.

Pooled-run deposit and refund terms

  • A deposit of 15% of the share value is required to confirm a pooled-run share.
  • The buyer may request cancellation of the share and a refund of that deposit within 48 hours after SpecZure records receipt of the deposit.
  • If the run misses its target by the join deadline, or SpecZure cancels the run, every recorded deposit is refundable regardless of the 48-hour window.
  • The 48 hours are the time to make the request. They are not a promise that the refund payment clears within 48 hours.
  • If the buyer cancels a pooled share or pooled order after the 48-hour window, the 15% deposit is not refundable, subject to applicable law, even if production has not begun. No further charge for unperformed production is owed, apart from any testing already performed.
  • While any buyer's 48-hour window is open or a refund is still due, SpecZure does not issue pooled quotes, process pooled orders, or start production for the run.

These pooled-run deposit terms are a draft pending legal review. Version pooled-deposit-2026-09-29-draft-2.
